Second wife of John Donahue. She was born in Ireland in and her mother died at her birth. She was taken to Liverpool Engliand as a baby to live with an uncle who owned a peacock farm. She left England at 28 and came to Canada and later to Sharpsburg, and married John Donahue Sr. in January 1878 (after his first wife had died). Their children were Harry (lived 3 hours), Lillian Ellen, and Thomas, who died as a baby. Sarah Agnes Manning Donahue died Oct 15, 1917 at 69 years old of pneumonia.

Though there are no headstones to her left, to her immediate right was a large upright stone apparently shared by three individuals. They are: Margaret Faherty (1875-1917) along with Billy Leonard and Katie O'Shea (no dates for either are inscribed, but Margaret is shown to be a native of County Galway, Ireland.)

Census record of 1880 shows a family named Donehue in Sharpsburg PA:
Parent John Donehue M 42
Parent Sarah Donehue F 31
William Donehue M 21
John Donehue M 15
Edward Donehue M 8
Mary J. Donehue F 6
Lillian Donehue F 5M
This census has her b date as 1849, and John's as 1838. William, John, Edward and Mary were the children of John's first wife, Margaret McCune, and were her stepchildren.

Edward was possibly "Uncle Eddie" and Mary was possibly "Aunt Mamie."
