I asked for transfer of this memorial page for she was my Dad's youngest sister always called Elsie, her middle name of Kathleen came from her mother's twin sister. Her parents were Fred & Martha Mays Hill, had siblings Edward, Othel, John Thomas and Viola Hill. She had 7 brothers and sisters that died as babies or children. They're all gone and she's the only one that's buried in Poplar Grove, the others are all buried in Helen Crigger Cem. in Munford, TN.
She had firey red hair that was very curly when young and a big smile, I also remember she had a temper to go with that red hair. Her Dad, Fred Hill, said that his Dad had red curly hair like hers so he believed she inherited it from her Hill side. I know her mother's side mostly had dark brown hair.
She was a housewife all her life, married Joe Bridges in 1949, they had children Nancy, Jimmy, Joan and Debbie.
I remember she had great faith in God, she and her children sang together for church and they used to travel and sing in churches.
God Bless you Aunt Elsie, I believe you definitely earned your Eternal Life.
