BURTON—Mrs. Emma Beatrice Burton, 83 years old, died yesterday at the home of a daughter Mrs. Addie Matthews, 223 South River boulevard, Independence. She was born in Nova Scotia and came to this country fifty-eight years ago. Besides Mrs. Matthews, she leaves another daughter, Mrs. Dora Howland, 101 South Willis, Independence, and a sister, Mrs. Ida Lavton, Nauvoo, Ill.

Funeral services will be at 2 o'clock Tuesday at the [R.] L. D. S. Stone church in Independence. Burial will be in Mound Grove cemetery.
