Columbus, Dec. 14, 1915
Samuel Cheever Abbot, aged 70, died at the home of his sister, Mrs. Hamilton, wife of General W. D. Hamilton, 87 East Fourth Ave, yesterday.
Mr. Abbot was well known in Zanesville, where he spent most of his live in the service of the B. and O. Railroad. In 1890 he was transferred to Chicago. In recent years he had been living in Knoxville, Tenn. Charles H. Abbot of Zanesville is a brother.
