Granddaughter of Sarah F Scott Graham

Sarah Rosabelle Graham was born on Saturday, 16 June 1900. She was the daughter of John Henry Graham and Mary Matilda Bohannon. It's possible Sarah's first name was derived from her paternal grandmother, Sarah Scott.

The 1900 census for Searcy County, Arkansas recorded that John and Mary Graham had six children, however, only five were listed by name: Evisa, Jessie, William, John, and Mary. The census included instructions to the enumerators to omit children born after 1 June 1900. Since Sarah's birthday was 16 June, she was counted but not recorded by name. This is the only official record that gives a hint of Sarah's existence.

Sarah died on Sunday, 8 September 1901. Her life spanned an all-too-brief fourteen months.

There is an illegible stone marking her grave. Sarah's full name and birth and death dates for this memorial come from the Graham family bible once owned by her brother Daniel Graham.
