Loren Ray Davis, Salina, entered eternal peace and regained his freedom on October 10, 2009.

Loren Ray Davis was born on May 21, 1942, in Hutchinson to H.A. Davis and Dorothy (Achilles). He was raised in the Hutchinson/Inman area. Loren graduated from Inman High School in 1960. He entered the Army and worked in transportation, primarily in France. After returning, he went to work at Eaton. Loren retired in 2002 after 37-1/2 years of service.

On April 17, 1965, he married Lynne'. They had a son named Darrin Christopher of whom he was quite proud of.

In 1991, Loren married Lou Ella Neuenschwander Erickson. He moved to Lindsborg and became a member of the community. He was an active member of the Lions Club until just a few months ago. He was also a member of the Bethany Lutheran Church.

Loren leaves behind his wife, Lou, of Salina, Darrin/DeeDee, son of Moundridge; his three children, Samantha, Tabitha and Slade; his father, H.A., of Little River; two brothers, Harold, of Dover, AR, and Richard, of the Philippines; two stepdaughters, Lois and her husband Terry Moyer, of Salina, and their four children, Scott, Steven, Seth and Stephanie, and Lorna and her husband Ron Schriner, of Broken Arrow, OK, and their three children, Alex, Noah and Lillian; and many nieces and nephews.
