AUGUST NOGAR DIES IN ROXBOROUGH AT 50
Was Former Reading Manufacturer, Inventor
August Nogar, manufacturer and inventor, died yesterday at his home in Roxborough, Philadelphia. He was 50 years old.
A former president of the Nogar Clothing Manufacturing Co., at one time situated in Reading, Nogar retired several years ago. Many government patents on clothing, some of which were known and used here and abroad, were held by him. His last patent was for [a] new type bearing to be used on electric dynamos and water turbines.
He is survived by his wife, Felicya (Miller) Nogar, and these children: Edmund J., Cincinatti; Mrs. Samuel Whittingham, Philadelphia; Mrs. A. Winfield Bartel, New York city, and Olga, Augustus, Eugene and Theodore, all at home. Funeral arrangements are in charge of Edmund F. Gallman.
