QUINCY Albert Al Joseph Cellini, age 82 of Quincy, died peacefully, Sunday, Oct 11, 2009 at Milton Hospital. He was born, raised and educated in Quincy, and was a graduate of Quincy High School. He later received his degree from Wentworth Institute of Technology, and had a long career as an engineer with Instron Corporation in Canton. Al was also a veteran of WW II serving in the US Navy. Beloved husband for 50 years of Constance (Bennett) Cellini. Devoted father of Joseph G. Cellini and his wife Sharlene of Weymouth, and Linda M. Nelson and her husband David of Hingham. Loving brother of the late Gino Cellini and Velia Cirillo, and beloved grandfather of Joseph and Ariana Cellini, and Bradley Nelson. Friends and relatives are invited to attend visiting hours at The Hamel, Wickens & Troupe Funeral Home 26 Adams St., Quincy Center on Friday, October 16th from 4 - 8 p.m. A Funeral Mass will be held on Saturday October 17th at 9:00 a.m. in St. Agathas Church, 432 Adams St. Milton. Burial to follow in Mt Wollaston Cemetery, Quincy. Donations may be made in Als memory to the American Heart Association, 20 Speen Street, Framingham, MA 01701.
