Died at Halstead, KS May 16, 1945 at age of 68 yrs, 3 mos and 1 day. On Dec 31, 1901, he was married at Sedan, KS to Dora Mae Trick. Surviving are four daughters: Mrs. Barbara Ferguson of Independence; Mrs. Virgie Russell of Longton; Mrs Mary Dixon of Elk City; Mrs Treva Wilson of Oak Valley; three sons; John of Elk City, Clifford of U.S. Army and James of the U.S. Navy. Also three children died in infancy and Mrs. Rosa Phillips preceded him in death in 1937. Mrs. Piesker died Nov 16, 1944. Also surviving are two sisters, Mrs Hannah Clark of Havana and Mrs. Dora Dikeman of Halfway, Oregon. (per F Mc (#46853696)
