Mrs. Sarah M. Burkett, of Boston, Mass., who was taken to the Hillsborough county jail on account of insanity, was found dead a few hours later by the jailer. The woman had torn off a strip of her blanket, tied it to her neck and to the footboard of the bed and sat down on the floor in such a manner that she choked to death.
