Funeral services for Alvin B. Hemschemeyer, 89, who died Wednesday morning at Rocky Knoll Health Care Facility, will be at 11 a.m. Saturday at the Huehns Funeral Home, Sheboygan Falls.

The Rev. Paul Kraus, associate pastor of St Paul Lutheran Church will officiate. Burial will be in the Sheboygan Falls Cemetery.

Mr. Hemschemeyer was a patient at Rocky Knoll the past week. Prior to that he had resided with his son, Robert of R. 1, Random Lake for eight years.

He was born on Oct. 14, 1884 in Sheboygan Falls, the son of the late Christian and Louise Goebel Hemschemeyer. He attended schools in Sheboygan Falls.

On March 7, 1916 he married Elsie Harder at St. Paul Lutheran Church, Sheboygan Falls. After marriage the couple lived in Sheboygan Falls.

His wife preceded him in death on Feb. 5, 1972.

Mr. Hemschemeyer was employed as a machinist at the Kohler Co. for 28 years, retiring in 1950.

He was a life long member of St Paul Lutheran Church and a member of the Kohler Quarter Century Club.

Survivors are two sons, Robert of R.1, Random Lake and Harold of Sheboygan Falls; a daughter, Mrs. Arneta Lind of Seattle, Wash.; 13 grandchildren and 15 great-grandchildren.
Two sons, three brothers and two sisters preceded him in death.

Friends may call at the funeral home after 6 p.m. Friday until the time of services.
