Horton was a retired streetcar motorman. He was born in Atlanta, Ga., and had lived in Oklahoma City 25 years He was a member of the Veterans of Foreign Wars and the Baptist Church.
Survivors include his wife, Ida M.; four stepsons, George Johnson, 4200 NW 14, and Grant, Billy, and Richard Johnson, all living in California and two stepdaughters, Mrs. Gloria Dryden Denver, and Mrs. Joan South, of the home.
