Isabel Marita was born to Chris and Dagmar (Thormp) Rasmussen in Omemee. A graduate of Clovis, CA High School, she then entered the military, working at the Pentagon. Upon her honorable discharge and marriage, shewas employed and retired from the Penis, CA Post Office. She was an active member of the LDS Church all her adult life, and a missionary to Guatemala. She moved from California to Oregon to the home of her son, Jon and family. Survivors include her four sons, Jon,Marc, Peter, and Paul; sisters Mitzi (Bryce) Bartholomew of Edgeview, WA; Karen Christenson of Faribault, MN; and brother, Gordon (Mavis) of Minot.
