MRS. CLYDE E. BAKER

Mrs. Annetta Myriam Parkell Baker 91, a native of Carthage died at 1:55 a.m. yesterday at Jane Chinn Hospital, Webb City, where she had been a patient 11 days.
Mrs. Baker, born October 18, 1871 was a daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Alonzo Burrett Parkell of Carthage. She had been a resident of Webb City since 1908 and prior to that lived in Purcell. Her husband Clyde Emerson Baker, died in 1941.
Mrs. Baker was a life member of Eminence chapter, Order of Eastern Star, Carthage. She also was a member of Central Methodist Church, Webb City.
Surviving are two sons, Chester Munson Baker and Merrill E. Baker, both of Purcell, and a daughter, Mrs. Robert A. Elliott of Los Angeles, California formerly of Webb City.

Services were held at the Hedge-Lewis funeral home, Webb City with the Rev. Leonard Westphal, pastor of Byers Avenue Methodist church, Joplin and Rev. Frank Funk, pastor of the Central Methodist church, Webb City officiating.
Burial was in Park Cemetery.
