BORING - Blaine F. Sr., 95, Johnstown, died Dec. 13, 2003, at UPMC Lee Regional. Born Oct. 14, 1908, in Cherry Tree, son of the late Norris and Eva (Findley) Boring. Preceded in death by first wife, Catherine F. (Schonvisky); two infant sisters; brother, Ruehl; and sister, Flora Jenkins. Survived by wife, Emma Jane (Brosius); and these children, Ruby, wife of Robert Havers Sr., Fort Wayne Ind.; Blaine Boring, married to the former Rita Ondrejack, Johnstown; and Dorothy, wife of Blaine F. Curtis, Johnstown; and stepdaughter, Nancy, wife of John Dallape, Westover. Also 12 grandchildren and 23 great-grandchildren. Brother of Reuben Boring, Liberty Park. Member of Berkey Church of the Brethren. Also member of Greater Johnstown Lodge 538 F.&A.M.; Portage Royal Arch, Chapter 195; Cambria Council 32 R.&.S.M.M.; Oriental Commandry 61, Knights Templar; Valley of Pittsburgh AASR; Jaffa Shrine, AAONMS; and Johnstown Area Shrine Club. He was a retired former owner of Blaine Boring's Chocolate Shop. Friends received from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Tuesday at the William T. Hindman Funeral Home, Chandler Avenue, where service will be held at 10 a.m. Wednesday, the Rev. Earl Crissman. Interment, Grandview Cemetery. Friends who wish may make memorial contributions to the Berkey Church of the Brethren.
