Mrs. Ada May Sidlo passed away unexpectedly at her home in Kenesaw Sunday, Sept. 7, 1975. She was born near Cherokee, Oklahoma, Oct. 31, 1921, daughter of Lewis and Ruby Elkins Smith.

Ada married Emil Sidlo on June 13, 1944 at Enid, Okla. They moved to Red Cloud in 1944 where they resided a number of years before coming to Kenesaw in 1967. She had been employed as a cook at Haven Home in Kenesaw until recently.

Survivors include her husband, Emil, Kenesaw; three sons, Emil, Jr., Sioux Falls, S. Dak., and Jerry and Ronald, at home; five daughters, Mrs. Harold Blessin, Juniata, Mrs. Larry Coaly, Chula Vista, CA, Mrs. John Swensen, Minden, Mrs. Cecil Brewster, Kenesaw, and Ramona, at home; 12 grandchildren; two sisters, Mrs. Roy Stanley, Goltry, Okla., and Mrs. Alvin Rose, Clinton, Okla.; six brothers, Floyd Smith, Larimore, Iowa, Gail Smith, Winterset, Iowa, Millard Smith, Springfield, Ore., Garold Smith, Hampton, Vir., Omar Smith, Maize, Kans., and Forrest Smith, Decatur, Ark.

Services were held Wednesday 2:00 p.m., at the Brand Wilson Chapel in Hastings with Rev. Bertram I. Schirmer officiating. Interment was in the Kenesaw cemetery. Jackson Funeral Home was in charge.
