Clarence P. Staggs, age 66, a veteran of World War I, died at his home in Rockville R. R. 1, Saturday morning.
He is survived by his wife, Elizabeth; two daughters, Mrs. Mable Fortner of Perrysville and Mrs. Mary Vibbert, Indianapolis; four sons, Raymond of Kingamn, Randall and Ray of Greencastle and Clarence of Crawfordsville; a foster son, John Knauner, Louisville, Kentucky; two sisters, Mrs. Ola Walls of Rockville and Mrs. Lilly Wilson of Greencastle; three brothers, Frank and Olem of Rosedale and Hasel of Rockville; a half-brother, Wanda of Indianapolis; a half-sister, Mrs. Maude Harney of Jessup and 22 grandchildren.
Funeral services were held Monday afternoon at the Barnes chapel by James O. Trousdale. Burial was in Memory Garden Cemetery.
