Mrs. Pearl Abbott's
Rites Set Wednesday
Services for Mrs. Anna Pearl Abbott, 516 N. Jefferson, will be held at 2:30 p.m. Wednesday from the Methodist church Wesley Hall with Rev. H. P. Elliott officating.
Born Nov. 22, 1876, in Indiana, Mrs. Abbott died Monday, Aug. 15, in a local hospital following several months' illness.
Married to Frank Abbott in Indiana in 1897, Mrs. Abbott came to Oklahoma in 1900 and to Elk City shortly thereafter and had lived here since. She was a longtime member of the Methodist church and an active member of the Royal Neighbors lodge.
Survivors include one son, Lloyd Abbott, Oklahoma City; two grandsons, two brothers, Mike and Paul McGungill, both of California; two sisters, Mrs. Edna Bodkin and Mrs. Daisy Cain, both of Indiana.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Frank, in 1948.
Burial will be in Fairlawn cemetery under direction of Savage funeral home.
