Sellersburg Soldier Dies Of Wounds
Army Spec. 4 David Robert Beyl, 21, of Sellersburg died July 18 of wounds received in action in South Vietnam the previous day.
Beyl, a 1967 graduate of Silver Creek High School, was a member of the Sellersburg Church of Christ.
Survivors are his wife, the former Debbie Eve; his parents Mr. & Mrs. Robert Beyl, Sellersburg; a sister, Rebecca Beyl; two brothers, Gary and Rodney Beyl, all at home; and his grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. Cephas Jackson, Pekin.
Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday at the Haas Funeral Home, with burial in Sellersburg Cemetery.
