Hilda Cora Howard Adams, beloved wife of Ralph H Adams died October 9,2009. She was born April 20, 1916 in Twin Falls, Idaho, the first of three children born to Don Carlos and Cora Lovina Howard.
Hilda had a beautiful voice and music was a vital part of her life from the age of 2 until the time of her death.
Hilda and Ralph were married in San Luis Obispo, California December 13, 1933. Their marriage was later sealed for eternity in the Salt Lake Temple in September 1943.
She loved people in all walks of life and lived a life of unlimited service both in community and Church. Hilda was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter- Day Saints and held a teaching post and leadership positions.
She was preceded in death by her husband Ralph H Adams, son Don Alvin Adams, brother Virgil Glen Howard, and her parents.
Surviving children include Verona Van Epps Christensen (Clair), Joann McCabe (Gary), Maxine Quinn, Dr. J. Loraine Adams, Shirley Anderson (Thad), Ralph H Adams (Jackie), Rolyne Chamberlain, Mitch T Adams, Evon J Adams. Also surviving is one brother Burgess D Howard (Betty). Fifty eight grandchildren, ninety three great-grandchildren and numerous great-great grandchildren share in the heritage.
Services will be held at Walker Sanderson Funeral Home at 646 East 800 North, Orem Utah on Friday October 16th at 11:00am. Family and friends may call from 9:45 -10:45 prior to the services. Graveside services will be held in Santa Maria California Tufesday October 20th at 1:00pm.
