Died Suddenly
Mr. Joshua Hussey died suddenly Saturday morning, cause unknown. He was eighty years old, and had been enjoying his usual health, being about town yesterday. On going to be last night, he complained of a pain in his face and shoulder - a trouble he has had for years, and his wife bathed the parts, which gave him relief, and they retired.
That morning when Mrs. Hussey awoke, she noticed that her husband was sleeping quietly and did not attempt to disturb him until she went to call for breakfast when she found him still in bed, but soon realized that the messenger of death had preceded her, and that her husband had evidently passed away as peacefully as he had suddenly.
Mr. Hussey was an old resident of Carthage, Having come here fourteen years ago from Highland county, Ohio.
He leaves a wife and five grown children as well as a host of friends to mourn his loss.

Obituary
Joshua Hussey, at the age of eighty years, six months and fifteen days, passed peacefully from life unto death, at about 7 o'clock, on the morning of April 3d, 1886.
