Doris R. Herbert, 84, of Millville died Tuesday, Oct. 13, 2009, after a brief illness at South Jersey Healthcare Regional Medical Center in Vineland.
Born in Millville, she was a lifelong resident. Prior to retirement, Mrs. Herbert worked for Armstrong's in Millville for more than 20 years, working in the carton assembly area. She enjoyed jigsaw puzzles and loved to spend time with her granddaughter.
She is survived by her husband, George A. Herbert Jr. of Millville; son, George A. Herbert III and his wife Michele of Laurel Lake; granddaughter, Emily Marie Herbert of Laurel Lake; and sister, Grace Hoffman of Millville.
Services will be held at 2:30 p.m. Friday at Rocap Shannon Memorial Funeral Home, 24 N. 2nd St., Millville.
Burial will follow at Cumberland Methodist Cemetery.
Relatives and friends will be received from 1:30 to 2:30 p.m. Friday at the funeral home.
