Patrick had a smile that could be seen for miles away. Patrick was a 1965 graduate of Hill High School. He attended the University of Minnesota for three quarters before enlisting in the Army. He was wounded on his 10th day of service, after which he spent five weeks in a military hospital before returning to his unit. Patrick was in Vietnam only seven months when he was killed in action.
