W.N. (Bill) Christopher, 85, of Beaver St., died April 5, 1977, in his sleep at his home after a short illness.
He was born in Washington, Pa., on March 13, 1892, to the late Jasper and Leona Christopher. He was retired from the Aetna Standard Engineering Co. of Ellwood City where he was an electrician. Mr. Christopher was a member of Wampum United Presbyterian Church and the American Association of Retired Persons of Wampum.
His wife the former Beryl Butler died in 1971. He is survived by a grandson William Christopher and several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by a daughter Mary Elizabeth in 1974; a son Charles in 1969; a sister, Alberta, and two brothers, Harold and George.
Friends will be received at the Robert S. Marshall Funeral Home, Main Street, from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Thursday. The service will be at 11 a.m. Friday at the funeral home conducted by Dr. Albert Conley of the church. Burial will be in Clinton Cemetery.
