Abbie A. Dunn, age 79, of Muskegon, passed away on August 27, 2004 at home following a long illness. She was born in New Hope, Arkansas on November 11, 1924 to Charles and Sylvia (carter) Persinger. Abbie lived in Muskegon for 1 1/2 years having previously living in Gladwin.
She married the late Walter Dunn on January 23, 1946 in Florence, Arizona.
Surviving her are daughters; Abbie (Gary) Leeball of Muskegon; Janice Blair of Coolidge, Arizona; Armilda McSterit, Coolidge, Arizona; Tommie (Albert) Salciedo, San Manuel, Arizona; Nancy (Raymond) Willis, Monague, MI.; Wilma Haney, Coolidge, Arizona. Sons, Charles (Donna) Dunn of Ionia; Daniel Dunn, Muskegon; Walter James Jr. (Anna) Dunn of Rosperry; several grandchildren, Sisters, Mamie Haris of Coolidge; Armilda Bussey of Coolidge, and Wilma Henderson of California.
She was predeceased by daughters: Ora Jane Hooper and Sylvia Pero; husband, Walter; and her parents.
Funeral services were held Monday August 30, 2004 at Hall Funeral Home in Gladwin. Burial in Grout Twp. Cemetery in Gladwin. Visitation took place on Monday from 10:00 a.m. until the time of service. Hall Funeral Home was in charge of the arrangements. Gladwin County Record dated 9-1/2004 Page - 2.
