CORINTH - Hershell Ray Austin, 64, died Wednesday, July 16, 2003, at his home. He was retired. He was a member of the American Legion.
Services will be at 3 p.m. Friday at Tuscumbia Baptist Church in Alcorn County with Bro. Pete Wooley and Bro. Craig Wilbanks officiating. Burial will be in the church cemetery. Coleman Funeral Chapel is in charge of the arrangements.
Survivors include his wife, Patricia Austin of Corinth; two daughters, Felicia Emerson and husband, Toby, of Corinth and Valerie Cordello and husband, Keith, of Canyon Lake, Texas; two brothers, Donald Austin of Greece and Larry Glidewell of Memphis; four sisters, Doris Glidewell, Helen Crabb, Kathryn Frazier and Lynn Price, all of Corinth.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Jessie M. and Lessie Austin; a sister, Vela Chamblee; and a brother, James Austin.
