G. W. Balfour Funeral Services are Conducted

Funeral services for Garnet W. Balfour, Great Northern switchman who was killed Thursday morning in the yards here, were conducted Saturday Afternoon at the Presbyterian Church, Dr. F. J. Hibbard Officiating.

Pall bearers, friends of Mr. Balfour and fellow members in the Brotherhood of Railway Trainmen, were Elmer Conkins, Jeffard Bougie, Wilbur Bougie, Frank Stainbrook, Gordon Leguee and L. M. Duckworth. Burial was in Oakdale Cemetery.

Mr. and Mrs. E. E. Sharp and Daughter Ruth of Moorhead, J. E. Burns of Grafton, Judge and Mrs. Phil McLaughlin of Grand Forks, and Mrs. Fred Vrchota of Arvilla and Mrs. Carol Kroll of Red Lake Falls were among relatives and friends to attend the funeral services.
