Larry was murdered on September 20, 1971. At the time of his death, Larry was a US Marine. He was spending a few days of well-deserved leave in Honolulu, HI. After a day of surfing and swimming with friends, he returned to his hotel room and surprised an armed burglar in his room. Larry was shot and died approximately 1 1/2 hours later. His killer has never been found.
