Nancy Inez (Berry) Barnes 93 of Eldon Mo. formally of Old Bagnell, passed away Monday morning March 5, 2012 at Osage Beach Healthcare Center in Osage Beach Mo. On January 1, 1991 she was born in Lone Lane Mo to the late Charles and Margaret (Wilson) Berry. On June 13, 1936 she was married in Lebanon, Mo. to Joshua Barnes who preceded her in death on February 19, 1997.
Survivors include sons and daughter in law, Donald G.&Donna Barnes of Eldon Mo. Joshua Jr. and Jo Ann Barnes of Versailles Mo. seven grandchildren,twelve great grandchildren, two great great great grandchildren, brother, Gene Berry of Big Springs TX. sister, Irene Parrish of Sleeper Mo.
three brothers, Jessie, Lester, and Paul Berry, preceded her in death.
She was a member of the Kingdom hall of Jehovah witnesses of Eldon, Mo. She enjoyed quilting, sewing, and crocheting. Nancy was employed with Wesley Jordan in Eldon and Weber Shoe Companies in Tipton Mo.
Visitation will be on Friday March 9, 2012 from 10-11a.m. at Phillips Funeral Home Eldon Mo. Graveside service will follow at 11;15 a.m. at Greenmore Memorial Gardens in Barnett Mo. with Merle Truitt officiatng.
Memorials are suggested to the Friends of Animal Shelter in Eldon Mo.
