The funeral of Mrs. Hattie Cox at the Methodist church last Friday was a fitting tribute in her memory. A large number of friends gathered to pay their last respects to a woman who was respected by everyone who came in contact with her. The services were conducted by Revs. Crumley and Rev. Craven assisted by the ladies of the Woman’s Relief Corps who furnished very impressive music. The pall bearers were Messrs. H.C. Brunt, John Hale, R.H. Galyen, Thomas Tipton, John Raedeker and Jay Egbert.
