Joyce M. Taylor was born November 6, 1939, in Anderson, Indiana, to parents, Arvid & Katherine Schweitzer and passed away at home in Oklahoma City, October 17, 2009. Joyce was an awesome, loving wife, mother and grandmother. She spent most of her life caring for the elderly in her home. She was also the proud CEO of Johnny on the Spot Carpet Cleaning. Joyce was preceded in death by her father; sister, Janet; grandson, Micheal; and great-granddaughter, Baby Joyce. She is survived by her mother; loving husband of 23 years, John Taylor; children, Tony Frazier, Katie Woods, Micheal Frazier, and Shon Frazier; 17 grandchildren, Cortney, Jessica, Calvin, Joshua, Rebecca, Corey, Arvid, Lydia, Lindsey, Leah Ann, Jenny, Christie, Amanda, Steven, Christopher, Alyssa, Krystal; 10 great-grandchildren, Jacob, Isaiah, Destiny, Paige, Nadia, Kaylynn, Haleigh, Madison, Chloe, and Jeremiah; sisters, Jackie Maynard and Jean Ann Flecker; and brothers, John Schweitzer and Joe Schweitzer. We love you and miss you! You will never be forgotten! The family would like to give special thanks to Carol Frazier, who helped Joyce through her illness, and to granddaughters, Jessica Woods and Rebecca Brown, who cared for her through her last week with us. Funeral services will be 2:00 PM, Thurs., October 22, 2009, at Memorial Park Historic Chapel at the entrance to the cemetery. Entombment will follow at Memorial Park Mausoleum.
