Royce Clinton Aber-crombie of Clio, died Tuesday, October 20, 2009. He was 77. Funeral services will be held Thursday, October 22, 2009 at 2:00 p.m. from Richland Baptist Church with the Rev. Kenneth Andrews and Rev. Robert Parnell officiating. Interment will follow in Richland Baptist Church Cemetery with Dillard Funeral Home of Brundidge directing. Mr. Abercrombie will lie-in-state from 1:30 p.m. until 2:00 p.m. at Richland Baptist Church on Thursday, October 22, 2009. Mr. Abercrombie is survived by his children: Rhonda Turberville and husband Wayne of Troy, and Carl Abercrombie and wife Yvetta of Lagrange, GA; grandchildren: Ashley Daly and husband Chase, Joshua Dykes, Cody Tur-berville, Clint Abercrombie and Chase Abercrombie and 1 sister: Margaret Shaw of Clio. Mr. Abercrombie was preceded in death by his wife of 47 years Becky Aber-crombie and his parents Foster and Anna Mae Abercrombie.
