SHAMROCK - Mattie Oma Coe, 84, died Wednesday in Stratford.

Services are pending with Richerson Funeral Home.

Mrs. Coe was born in Seligman, Barry, Mo. She was married to Charles H. Coe in 1915 at Avoca, Texas. He died in 1966. She lived in and around Shamrock from 1930 until moving to Arlington in 1965. She was a member of Assembly of God.

Survivors include three daughters, Myrtle Ferril of Amarillo, Juanita Dyess of Andalusa, Alabama and Charlene Guadagnolo of Arlington; three sons, Obie "Jim" of Amarillo, and Bobby Joe and Dewayne, both of Arlington; three brothers, Henry Walters of Blessing, Roy Walters of Craig, Colo., and Early Walters of Olney; two sisters, Pearly Kincaid and Evelyn Bryson, both of Olney; 41 grandchildren; 27 great-grandchildren; and five great-great-grandchildren.

Oma is the daughter of Henry Craig and Hattie Frances Vaught Walters. She and my dad, Charles Henry Coe,( born 10 September, 1993 Wood County, Texas-died December 23, 1966, Arlington, Tarrant County, Texas.) married 16 December, 1915 in Avoca, Jones County, Texas.
