He was born on September 7, 1983, the son of Robert Douglas and Evelyn (Hill) Gray. He lived in Wichita until the age of 5 at which time he lived in Norwich. He attended local schools for a time, graduating from Norwich Home School. At the age of 18, the family moved to Kingman. In 2003, Blake moved to Fall River and began working for Cobalt Boats in Neodesha.
He is survived by his mother, Evelyn (Hill) Terrell of Kingman; grandmother Sandra Skelton of Fall River; grandparents John Richard and C. Maxine Hill of Norwich; great-grandmother Naomi Webb of Savonburg; one sister, Brittany M. Stuber of Derby; and one stepsister, Karissa Gray of Maize. He was preceded in death by his father, and one sister, April Sue Gray
