Funeral Rites Tuesday For Neill Hinton
Harry Neill Hinton, 71, passed away early Sunday morning at his home on Main St. following a seven month's illness. During that time Mr. Hinton was hospitalized several times and everything possible was done to prolong his life.

A native of Madison he was the son of Charles C. Laura Neill Hinton. He grew to manhood in Madison and many years of his life were passed there.

He attended Purdue University and then served in the army during World War One, reaching the rank of major. The later years of his life were spent as a furniture salesman but he had retired some years before his death.

Two years ago he and Mrs. Hinton moved to Vevay and bought a home. They also owned a summer home in Canada.

During their short residence here they identified themselves with the civic interests and church activities of the Switzerland Baptist Church. They soon made many friends who are grieved by Mr. Hinton's death.

He was a member of the Sigma Chi social fraternity, the Elk Lodge, the Masonic Lodge and the American Legion at Madison.
His only survivor is his wife, Mrs. Corabell Peyton Hinton.

Funeral services will be held Tuesday morning from the Vail funeral home in Madison with Rev. Sonny Hayes of Vevay in charge.

The ritualistic service of The Elks Lodge was given at the funeral home the previous evening and of the Masonic Lodge at the graveside in Springdale cemetery in Madison.
