WASHBURN - L. J. Washburn of Meridian died at a Boise hospital Wednesday evening, after a long illness. His widow survives. He was been working for the Boise Valley Co-operative Creamery company for the last 10 years as the head man at the cheese factory in Meridian. The body is at the Schreiber & Sidenfaden parlors and funeral arrangements will be announced later.

WASHBURN - The funeral of Luther J. Washburn, Meridian, who died last Wednesday, will be held Saturday morning at 9 o'lcock at the St. John's cathedra. The rosary will be recited at teh Schreiber & Sidenfaden chapel Friday evening at 8:30 o'clock. Burial in the St. John's cemetery, Mr. Washburn was a member of the Knights of Columbus council at Ford Madison, Iowa. The members of the Boise council will attend the services in a body.
