Mrs Vera Mae Hancook, wife of Julius Hancook, chief engineer at Indiana Masonic Home, died suddenly in the Johnson County Memorial Hospital at approximately 12:40 o'clock Tuesday afternoon. She was ill only 5 hours.
Funeral services will be conducted Friday with the hours to be announced later. Rites will be in the Hall Funeral Home at Plainfield. Burial will be in the Plainfield cemetary. Friends may call at the Flinn and Maguire Funeral Home Wednesday night. The daughter of the late Elisha F. and Margaret Ann Rule Fulton, Mrs Hancook was born Sept. 9, 1908, in Henddricks County and recieved her education in the schools there. She became the bride of Mr. Hancook at
Greencastle in 1931, and two children were born to them. She had been a resident of Plainfield until coming to Franklin seven years ago. Mrs Hancook was a member of the Christian church. The survivors with the husband are two sons, Ronald J. Hancook, who is in the United States Army; and David W.
Hancook, of Franklin. Others remaining are a sister, Mrs. Edna Stanley, of Mooresville; and two brothers, Joseph Fulton, of Mooresville; and William Fulton of Minneapolis MN.
