Henry was at home on the 1860 census living on Fishing Creek on the farm his brother, Perry, had bought from David Floyd in 1857. David Floyd was a neighbor. Henry's father and mother were also in the household.

Henry maried Margaret on 10 June 1861 at the home of her parents George and Elizabeth Keeler in Pulaski Co. KY. The minister was J.S. Reynolds. This would have been John Singleton Reynolds son of Jesse Reynolds. John and Henry were first cousins. Henry's brother Lee Franklin was a witness.

On the 1870 and 1880 census and 1890 tax list, Henry and Margaret were living next door to her parents in Pulaski Co. near Eubank. The family may have moved to Lincoln Co. after the 1870 census was taken and prior to 7 Sept. 1880 when son Mack was born. His marriage record shows he was born in Lincoln Co. The same is true for sons Robert born 9 Dec. 1883 and Charles born 3 Feb. 1889. The marriage record of Robert lists Waynesburg as his place of birth. Daughter Elizabeth married on 17 Dec. 1885 and Henry signed the consent statement indicating he was living at Waynesburg Station. The license was issued in Lincoln Co. If the records reviewed are accurate, they moved back to Pulaski Co. between 3 Feb. 1889 and when the 1890 tax list was prepared showing them as neighbors to George Keeler. During this nine year period daughter Sarah was married at the home of Grandfarther George Keeler in Pulaski Co. The passage of time has probably erased the answer to these possible moves. The towns of Eubank and Waynesburg are less than five miles apart but some of us would like to know all the details about our ancestors.
