Clara married H.T. Klassen on October 14, 1939 and was a support and help to him in his many years of ministry, first at the Bible School in Rosthern, Saskatchewan and then in Winnipeg. They retired to Abbotsford, British Columbia in 1977. Predeceased by her husband in 2003, Clara spent her last few years in the Menno home in Abbotsford.
