On Monday morning occured the death of Paul Flieman, age 42, of this city in the Kalamazoo State hospital, where he had been an inmate for about three months. The deceased is well known in this city and at the park where he managed the Grand View Inn. He is survived by his wife, his father, Jacob Flieman of this city and six brothers and sisters, Mrs Nettie Hayes, of Seattle, Wash., Mrs Lena Boaz of Battle Creek, Mich., Mrs Rose Hoffman of Oklahoma City, Okla., Mrs Lillian Meyer of Holland, George Flieman of Oak Point, Wash., and John Flieman of this city.

The funeral will be held at 2 o'clock Thursday afternoon at the Wesleyan Methodist church on the corner of Pine Avenue and 17th street.

Paul's first married Deliha Crofoot Jan 29, 1895 In Holland, Ottawa, MI and they had a son: Russell born on October 27, 1896 in Michigan. 1903, 1904, 1905 City Directories for Tacoma, Washington, Delia listed herself as "Widow" of Paul Flieman, although he did not die until 1915. At some point before the 1910 Census, Delia is married to Frank H. Dugal who states in the 1940 census he is widowed.

By the 1930 Census. Delia is living with a daughter Delia E. Dugal who marries Elmer Davis. Delia E. Crofoot Dugal died Jan 25, 1934 in Los Angles, CA

Paul was married at the time of his death to Rose Ranker McGreevy who was a widow with three children when he married her on May 12, 1909. She last shows up in the 1940 census living in the 1940 City Directories living in Florida and listed as widow of Paul.
