Services for Clara Lavelle Jordan Magee of Baton Rouge were 2 p.m., Saturday, June 26, at Harrigill Funeral Home Chapel with burial in Rosehill Cemetery.
Mrs. Magee, 84, died June 24, 2004, at her residence. She was born in Lincoln County on January 23, 1920, to Samuel Dewitt Jordan and Ella Rollins.
She was the former owner of Tom Houston Peanut Co. and former owner of Brookhaven Childcare Center. She was a member of Southway Baptist Church.
Preceding her in death were her parents; her husband, O.B. Magee; her sisters, Tera Gault, Carrie Thompson, Mary Phillips, Yvonne Jordan, Myrtis Hux and infant Jordan; and her brothers, Louis Jordan, Horace Jordan and Floyd Jordan.
Survivors are her daughters, Barbara A. McKenzie and Charlote A. Coon, both of Baton Rouge, La.; and her grandchildren, Dianne Hart, Clarisa Mclendon, Christopher Coon, Rene Betts, Willie E. McKenzie Jr. and Connie Coon.
