Mrs. Addie Melissa DEMPSEY, 80, wife of John DEMPSEY, died at her 227 West Center Street home on Sunday, August 7. Born December 12, 1868, her parents were the late Henry STODDARD and Melissa RYTHER. She had been a resident of Medina for the past 13 years.
Surviving in addition to her husband are two daughters, Mrs. Clara GEROLIMATOS, at home and Mrs. Menzo KENWARD of West Shelby and three grandchildren, Mrs. Sam QUIBBLE of Smithville; Harry KENWARD of Medina and Milton KENWARD of Basom, 14 great-grandchildren, two nieces and one nephew.
Friends may call at her late home after Tuesday noon from where services will be held Wednesday at 2:30. The Rev. Reginald CORY of the Medina Methodist Church, of which the deceased was a member, will officiate and burial will be in Mt. Pleasant Cemetery.
