John Arnett, 90, of Ardmore died Thursday afternoon, December 24, 1970, at Giles County Hospital in Pulaski, Tennessee. Funeral services were held at 2:00 p.m. Saturday, December 26, at Rainey Funeral Home with Rev. James Rolison of the Ardmore Baptist Church officiating. Interment was at Gatlin Cemetery.
Survivors include his wife, Mrs. Pattie M. Arnett; four daughters, Mrs. Pat Hargrove of Athens, Alabama, Mrs. Daisy Mae Daly and Mrs. F. P. Merrell both of Ardmore and Mrs. Virginia Ealy of Tuscumbia, Alabama; two granddaughters, Miss Helen Daly of Ardmore and Mrs. Virginia Sanderson of Florence, Alabama.
Rainey Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
