Ricky Lee "Rick" Hudson, son of John William Hudson and Carol Sue (Godfrey) Hudson Teeter, was born July 8. 1955, at Sullivan, IN, and died February 9, 2004, at Emporia, at the age of 48.

He moved, with his family, at an early age to Belleville, KS. The family relocated to Salina and then Lyons where he attended the local public school system.

On May 4, 1979, he was united in marriage to Barbara Douglas at Lyons. To this union, one child was born. The couple made their home in Formoso.

Hudson was involved in trucking, working as a truck driver most of his life. He was an owner-operator for many years, and later also worked for Zietner and Sons of Omaha, NE, as a truck driver. For the last few years, he worked as truck driver for Thoman Farms, Jamestown.

He was active in the City of Formoso Pride Projects, working on city projects, including the playground project.

Hudson was preceded in death by his father.

He is survived by his wife, of Formoso; daughter Marie Bradley of Courtland; three grandchildren; and mother Carol Teeter and step-father Jim Teeter of Marquette, KS.

Funeral services were held February 13 at the United Methodist Church, Munden. conducted by Walter Molzahn. Interment will be at the Ida Cemetery, rural Munden.
