Thomasina has resided in Grand Island, Nebraska for 53 years where she spent some of those making loving memories with the love of her life, Mario Ramirez. The last 40 years she advocated for the elderly and those with disabilities. Thomasina was one of the first members of Nebraska that launched Headstart in the state. Her legacy will be her strong spirit and her ability to speak up for those who do not have a voice.
Survivors are daughters and two sons-in-law, Kathy and Armando Sigala, Debbie and Ken Ewoldt and Misti Ramirez and brothers, Johnny and Dana Cantu and a host of friends and relatives.
Thomasina was welcomed into The Heavenly Home by her husband, Mario Ramirez; son, Rodney Lee; Ramirez; her parents, John and Concha Cantu; a sisters and a brother.
