Mrs. Emma Rife
MIDDLEPORT - Mrs. Emma Elizabeth Rife, 94, Cheshire, died Tuesday at the Hillcrest Nursing Home, Athens.
Born in Cheshire, she was the daughter of the late Alexander and Ellen Scott. She was preceded in death by her husband, Arthur, a son, three brothers, and two sisters.
Surviving are a son, Marion, Columbus; two daughters, Mrs. Mary Wells, Middleport, and Mrs. Glenna Shuler, Cheshire; a brother, Harrison Scott, Zanesville; 12 grandchildren and 16 great-grandchildren.
Mrs. Rife was a member of the Old Kyger Free Will Baptist Church.
Friends may call at the Rawlings-Coats Funeral Home where services will be conducted at 2 p.m. Friday. The Rev. Chester Lemley will officiate and burial will be in the Gravel Hill Cemetery.
