Mass of Christian Burial will be at 2 p.m on Thursday, September 15, 2005, at St. Joseph Catholic Church in St. Joseph for Isabel A. Feld, 79, of St. Joseph, who died on Monday, September 12. Reverend Greg Miller, OSB will officiate. Burial will be in the Parish Cemetery.

Friends may call from 4-9 p.m. on Wednesday, September 14, and after 1 p.m. on Thursday, at the Daniel Funeral Home in St. Joseph. The St. Joseph Sr. Citizens and the Council of Catholic Women will pray at 4:30 p.m., followed by Parish prayers at 8 p.m. at the Funeral home in St. Joseph.

Isabel was born on May 31, 1926 in St. Wendel to Michael and Anna (Marsolek) Skaj. She married Felix Prom in 1947; he died in 1950. Isabel married Gerhard E. Feld on November 21, 1951, at St. Joseph Catholic Church in St. Joseph. They farmed near St. Joseph all of their married lives. She was also employed at Fingerhut for 21 years. She was a member of St. Joseph parish, and the St. Joe Rod and Gun Club. Isabel especially enjoyed quilting, fishing, and bingo.

Isabel is survived by: her husband Gerhard of St. Joseph; Children: Joseph (Anna Mae) Prom of St. Joseph, Virginia Wiener of Minneapolis, Sylvester (Patricia) Prom of St. Augusta, Robert (Maxine) Prom of St. Joseph, Nicholas (Linda) Prom of Sauk Rapids, Geneva Feld of St. Cloud, Jerome Feld of Cold Spring, Marvin (Liz) Feld of St. Joseph, Raymond (Debra) Feld of St. Anna, David (Gerri) Feld of St. Joseph, Anna Mae (Kevin) Schrom of Cold Spring, Theresa (George) Trettel of Bowlus, Joyce (Kevin) Weber of St. Joseph, Ralph (Denise) Feld of Cold Spring; 36 grandchildren; 22 great-grandchildren; brother Al Skaj of Sartell; sister Adeline Jarnot of St. Wendel.

She was preceded in death by her parents, her first husband Felix Prom, step-daughters Mary Ellen, Rosanne, Audrey, and her sister Monica Vouk. Memorials are preferred in lieu of flowers.
