George Otto Abell, 58, 602 Palm Drive, Glendale, died yesterday in Glendale Community Hospital . He was western manager for an abrasives manufacturer.

He leaves his widow Marie and a daughter, Mrs. Virginia Spurlock.

Funeral services will be conducted at 3 p.m. Tuesday in the chapel of Kiefer & Eyerick Mortuary. Burial will be in Grand View Memorial Park.
