OBITUARY (St. Cloud Times)
Gloria A. (Albright) Prom, 71
Saint Cloud
Formerly of Milaca
Sept. 3, 1936 - Mar. 17, 2008

Funeral services will be on Thursday, March 20, 2008 at 11:00 a.m. at St. Anthony's Catholic Church in St. Cloud for Gloria A. (Albright) Prom, age 71 of St. Cloud and formerly of Milaca who died Monday, March 17, 2008 at her home from pancreatic cancer. Reverend Gregory Lieser and Reverend Thomas Knoblach will officiate. Burial will be in Sts. Peter and Paul parish cemetery in Gilman.

Family and friends may call from 5:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. on Wednesday at the Daniel Funeral Home in St. Cloud and after 10:00 a.m. on Thursday at the church. There will be a prayer service at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday at the funeral home in St. Cloud.

Gloria was born on September 3, 1936 at home in Granite Ledge Township, Benton County, Minnesota to John and Barbara (Kussman) Broda. She married Winslow A. Albright on November 11, 1953, they later divorced. Gloria married James R. Prom in 1967, he preceded her in death in 1968. She was employed by Holes Webway and later was as a seamstress for the Courage Center. Gloria was a member of the VFW Auxiliary #1558.

Gloria is survived by her children, Mary (Daniel) Karls of St. Cloud, Tony (Jean) Albright of St. Cloud, Greg (Sheri Barstow) Albright of St. Croix Falls, Wisconsin, Bev (Leo) Zuleger of St. Cloud and Al Broda of Zimmerman; 13 grandchildren; eight great grandchildren; brothers and sister, Florian of St. Cloud, LeRoy of Askov and Frances Dahler of Foley.

She was preceded in death by her parents; brothers and sisters, Norbert, Larry, Florence Schlicht and Delores Beutz; grandson, Jeremy Albright and fiancé, Donald Rauschendorfer.

The family wishes to extend a heartfelt thank you to Dr. Al-Khatib, nurse Tammy, Corborn Cancer Center, 5 South Oncology staff, Hospice Home Care staff and all others who provided such wonderful care during Gloria's illness.

Memorials are preferred in lieu of flowers.
