Skeffington Palmer Fletcher is my Mother's Uncle. He was born on 29 Sep 1876 in Ontario Canada and died at the Western State Hospital on 22 Mar 1940. My Mother and I purchased the stone for him and was told the date of death was incorrect and they would replace it. We haven't heard from them in along time.

Skeffington, Uncle Paddy never married and never had any children. He was my Mother, Muriel Eleanor Robinson's favorite uncle, being the brother of Muriel's mother, Mabel Elsie Fletcher. Uncle Paddy as she called him, nicknamed her "Wow Wow". Mom told stories of what a fun loving and humorous man Uncle Paddy was. Paddy received an award from the Tacoma Humane Society while he was employed with Foss Tugs. He was stationed on a tugboat when the cook held a mouse on the griddle to kill it and Paddy hit him and saved the mouse!
